Currently composed of 70 members, RED is developing the Amália mission, focusing on the transition to hybrid engines. After successful static tests, the goal for 2025/26 is the actual launch of the rocket. Technical teams are innovating across several fronts: Propulsion is focusing on new technical parameters, Electronics is developing new avionics and a dedicated PCB for testing, and Recovery is working on a controllable parafoil system for the nosecone. Additionally, the R&D department is developing the "Ínclita Geração" mission in partnership with Ciência Viva, having already successfully tested the Magalhães engine equipped with Thrust Vector Control (TVC).
